Here are my losers of the summer.

"The Casino" - Fox - Reality show producer Mark Burnett's ("Survivor" and "The Apprentice") luck finally runs out on this boring show.

"North Shore" - Fox - Worse than the seaweed down the shore this summer.

Julie Chen - The host of "Big Brother 5" on CBS.  The show is doing well in the ratings, but Julie still bugs me.

NBC Reality Shows - "The Next Action Star," "Who Will Marry My Dad" and "For Love or Money."  Three strikes and you are out!

"The Jury" - Fox - Serious and Fox doesn't mix.

"Joe Schmo 2" - Spike TV - Like "Joe Millionaire 2," people didn't care about it the second time around.

"The Grid" - TNT - I still don't forgive Juliana Margulies for giving up "ER."

Ryan Seacrest - Newspaper editors all over the country rejoiced at writing the headline "Seacrest Out" upon news of the cancellation of "On Air with Ryan Seacrest."

The Word "Extreme" - Peruse the "TV Guide" and find "Extreme Makeover," "Extreme Dodgeball," "Extreme Engineering," "Extreme Ops," and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

"The Drew Carey Show" - ABC - Most people forgot it was still on the air.

"The Democratic National Convention" - The broadcast networks only ran three hours and for good reason.  "Amish in the City" got higher ratings.

All these damn card games - "The World Series of Poker," "Celebrity Poker," "Celebrity Blackjack."  I'll stick with the Joely Fisher show "Wild Card" on Lifetime.

The Personal Lives of "Full House" Members - Mary Kate Olsen went into rehab, "New York Minute" tanked, John Stamos got divorced, and Dave Coulier was rumored to be the inspiration for former girlfriend Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know" - ick.
